Does the Law Society hold a list of group litigation orders?
We’re looking to see if the court has made a group litigation order (GLO) in a matter. Do you hold a list of all GLOs?
No. We hold records of GLOs that have been supplied to us.
We cannot guarantee that all solicitors comply with the provision under section 11 of Practice Direction 19B (Group Litigation) that requires them to supply a copy of any GLO made to both:
- the Law Society
- the senior master at the Queen's Bench Division of the Royal Courts of Justice
You can call our Multi-Party Action Information Service on 020 7320 5675.
We recommend that you also:
- call the Royal Courts of Justice on 020 7947 6000
- check the group litigation orders register
