Karen handles cases involving divorce and separation, family financial matters, arrangements for children and related disputes, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements and child maintenance.
As the assessor for our family law microcredential, Karen helps deliver education to the profession. She is recognised as an advanced level family law specialist and wrote Matrimonial Financial Toolkit (2nd edition).
Karen is a committee member of the Southend-on-Sea and District Law Society, a member of the Pensions Advisory Group and a member of Resolution.
She supports the law clinic at Anglia Ruskin University and the Deaf Ethnic Womens’ Association.
Karen is part of the online divorce and financial order pilot scheme for solicitors, working with HM Courts and Tribunals Service.
She takes part in the consultation groups assisting with the design and development of digital court reform. She is known for her love of technology and its use to support her clients.
She has appeared on BBC News and radio shows speaking about changes and advances in family law, as well as alongside senior international judiciary and on lectures, webinars and panels.
