Peter Young is the EMEA head of capital markets at Norton Rose Fulbright. He is qualified in England and New York and has market-leading experience under US federal securities laws.

Peter focuses on major debt offerings in both emerging (particular sub-Saharan African) and developed markets, across a broad spectrum of industries.

He is cited as a Leading Individual for debt capital markets in the Legal 500 UK 2016 to 2023.

Initially called to the English bar in 1994 (Hardwicke, Wolfson and Denning scholarships, the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn), Peter later qualified as a solicitor.

Before joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Peter was previously a partner in a leading US law firm based in London.

He was admitted to the New York bar in 1993.
