Shannett Thompson is a partner in the regulatory team at Kingsley Napley, with vast experience advising regulated individuals, businesses and students in respect of disciplinary investigations, predominantly in health, social care and education.

Shannett was admitted onto the roll in 2007 following training in-house within the NHS.

She joined Kingsley Napley as an associate in 2011, was promoted to senior associate in 2015 and became a partner in 2020.

She is a passionate diversity and inclusion advocate, and chairs her firm's network dedicated to race, ethnicity and cultural heritage.

Shannett regularly speaks at external conferences on disciplinary issues and her articles have been published externally, including in the Journal of Professional Negligence, Lexis Nexis, the Sunday Times and other professional publications.
