Do the provisions within the Code for Completion by Post 2019 continue to apply to licensed conveyancers as with the 2011 code?
Adoption of the 2019 code is voluntary for anyone not a member of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
It may be adopted by licensed conveyancers.
Paragraph 15 of the new code states that “when a licensed conveyancer adopts this code, references to a solicitor include that licensed conveyancer”.
