Dr Natasha Hirst
Freelance Researcher and PhotojournalistNatasha is an independent freelance researcher and photojournalist working on the 'Legally Disabled?' project. Throughout her career, she has specialised in equalities, disability and campaigns. Taking a co-productive approach to projects, Natasha is an advocate for empowering communities to tell their own stories and influencing decision-makers.
She is the Chair of Disability Arts Cymru and sits on the National Executive Committee of the National Union of Journalists. As a deaf woman, she has been a disability activist for 25 years, including spending six years as a Trustee for Disability Wales.
