Markus Hartung
Member of the Committee on Professional Regulation of the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltverein)Markus Hartung, lawyer and mediator, is the founder of the Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession at Bucerius Law School. Before that, he was German managing partner of Linklaters LLP.
His main areas of practice include legal professional and liability law. He is a member of the Committee on Professional Regulation (chairing the committee until 2019) and the Committee on Legal Professional Ethics of the German Bar Association (DAV).
With his law firm, the Law Firm Companion, he advises German and foreign law firms on legal matters as well as strategy and management issues, and regularly lectures and publishes on these topics.
