Group head of legal at Quintet Private Bank

As group head of legal at Quintet Private Bank, Rachel Macfarlane is responsible for delivering legal services across Europe and the UK, from the Luxembourg head quarter.

Previously, Rachel was general counsel for the Group’s UK entity, Brown Shipley. Rachel has also held in house roles at Santander UK, as well as acting as trustee and director for Santander's charitable foundation.

Last year she was awarded the In-house Lawyer of the Year award from the Manchester Law Society’s legal awards and has appeared on many podcasts, webinars and forums over the last couple of years discussing relevant issues for in house solicitors.
