Coral Hill is associate professor at the University of Law and a non-practising solicitor.
She is a member of the International Committee of Westminster & Holborn Law Society. Coral holds external positions including academic advisor for the Judicial College (responsible for the training of the UK judiciary) and trustee for a charity, Cybercare. She has been active in addressing equality issues within the legal profession and is a member of the Law Society Council Membership Committee and International Women in Law Group.
She is the founder and editor in chief of Legal Women, a free new quarterly publication focused on equality, diversity and inclusion, covering England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
