Training
Our Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS) accreditation is a best practice quality mark for wills and estate administration advice.
If your practice is accredited under WIQS, you must complete mandatory training if you’re either:
- the senior responsible officer (SRO)
- a relevant person working in a wills, probate or estate administration department
Update training
All existing relevant persons must take update training within six months of the training being launched.
For newly accredited practices, training must be completed within six months of being accredited.
Training is available on Law Society Learning.
You only need to take the update training that’s relevant to your role. For example, if you advise clients on wills, you should only complete the will drafting protocol course.
The courses can be bought individually or as a training bundle.
